Founder, Quintess Property Law
Susie Faulkner has spent more than twenty years in the legal industry, including close to a decade focused specifically on conveyancing and property law. In that time, she’s seen the same pattern play out again and again: clients who were never actually told what was happening to their own transaction, left to decode legal language on their own at exactly the moment they could least afford to get it wrong.
That experience is what led her to found Quintess Property Law.
Susie has a particular affinity for guiding first home buyers — clients who are often navigating contracts, finance approval and settlement for the first time, with no real frame of reference for what’s normal and what’s worth questioning. That instinct for translating legal process into plain, practical guidance now shapes how Quintess works with every client, not just first-time buyers.
Quintess Property Law launches with a practice motto built around the same plain-English, proactive approach she’s developed over two decades in the law: clients should never have to wonder whether anyone is watching their file.
“After twenty years in this industry, I’ve learned that clients don’t need more legal jargon. They need someone to tell them clearly what’s happening and what to do next.”
Why “Quintess.”
The word Quintess connects to “quintessence” — the purest form, the most perfect example, the essential element of something.
Quintess exists to bring the property transaction back to its essentials: clear advice, careful protection, confident decisions and calm settlement. It’s not about doing more noise. It’s about doing the important things beautifully.
